There is nothing like a bountiful and well-decorated table to welcome those you love with affection

Who doesn’t love gathering the family around the table on Sunday? To make the occasion more pleasurable, there is nothing better than simplifying your preparations, defining your service style and the look of the table in advance. See tips for impressing those you love at Sunday lunch:

1. Define the type of service

How many guests are you expecting? Based on the number of people at the table, you can choose the type of service. If the family is big, we suggest buffet service style. In this style, foods are served on a main table and guests serve themselves. Another option, more common in Brazilian homes, features serving dishes on the table.

2. Combine the layers

Separate and distribute the utensils needed to set the table (charger, napkins, napkin rings and placemats) and those intended for the meal (dishes, flatware and glasses). For a more rustic look, you can leave the table uncovered and just use placemats. If you want to add more contrast, extend a tablecloth. Think about combining colors and patterns and don’t forget a centerpiece: flowers, foliage, candles, sweets... let your imagination run wild!

 3. Porcelain: the star of the table

The entire color base created with fabrics is crowned by the choice of porcelain. Tramontina has a line of porcelain tableware in various models and shapes. A floral theme is even prettier with the Ana Flor line and with Ana Clara dishes. If you prefer a more neutral set, the Helen dinnerware set looks good on any occasion. It is made of Tramontina’s traditional, proprietary porcelain which ensures high mechanical strength and nearly zero porosity, preventing the proliferation of fungi and bacteria, in addition to being translucent, with excellent shine and whiteness.
