How to make a vegetarian recipe.

Vegetarians, checking in! And non-vegetarians too, because we have a recipe for any taste: the chickpea burger. Easy to make and delicious to eat. We want to show that finding vegetarian options is possible (and scrumptious!).

Who can resist a good burger? This culinary classic can be as practical as it is delicious. Here is a recipe from scratch to make at home with family, friends, or just a party of one. Nobody can resist!


Ingredients:
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1 small onion
1 garlic clove
3 tablespoons oat flour
tablespoons ground flaxseed
Seasoning to taste
Suggestions: salt, parsley, oregano, and thyme


Instructions:

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté with a splash of olive oil, along with a pinch of salt, for around 2 minutes. Mash the chickpeas with a fork or process them in the blender until they are roughly mashed. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them by hand until fully combined. If you have time, leave the mixture in the refrigerator for around 1 hour before shaping (this helps with the consistency of the patties). Shape into patties, add a splash of olive oil into a frying pan, and sear for 2 minutes on each side.
