A delicious snack or quick meal recipe
We share with you a frying pan pizza recipe that is easy to make and can be enjoyed as a quick snack or a full meal.
Ingredients:
1 cup of flour
½ teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
½ cup of warm water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
For the filling:
Tomato sauce
Grated mozzarella cheese
Ingredients of your choice (such as pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, onions, olives, pepperoni, bacon, etc.)
Oregano to taste
Preparation method:
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir well until you have a homogeneous dough. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until it gets smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll each into thin discs, about 20 cm in diameter. Preheat a nonstick frying pan on medium heat. Place a disk of dough in the frying pan and cook for approximately 2 minutes, or until the underside is lightly golden.
Turn the dough over and spread a layer of tomato sauce over the cooked part. Add the grated cheese and the ingredients of your choice. Cover the frying pan with a lid or aluminum foil and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the dough is crispy.
Remove the pizza from the frying pan, sprinkle with oregano and serve immediately. It can yield another portion! Just repeat the process with the second dough and remaining ingredients.
