Warm up your day with strawberry-clove tea, apple-cinnamon tea or pineapple-ginger tea
The colder temperatures have arrived and with them, the need to stay warm. Lucky for us, along with this comes tea season!
If you are one of those people who is always on the lookout for different flavors, we have three recipes to share with you. Take a look!
Apple-cinnamon tea
Preparation time: 90 minutes
Recipe difficulty: easy
Yield: 1 liter
In a sauce pan or milk boiler, place 1 liter of water, three apples cut into small cubes and four cinnamon sticks and bring to medium heat. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and let it cook for about 1 1/2 minutes. Then, turn off the heat and pour the liquid through a strainer into a carafe or thermal flask.
Pineapple-ginger tea
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Recipe difficulty: easy
Yield: 1 liter
In a cooker or milk boiler, place 1 liter of water to boil. When the water is boiling, add cut peels from one pineapple and 3 thick slices of ginger. Let it boil for 5 minutes and then turn off the heat and pour the liquid through a strainer into a carafe or thermal flask. If you like, add mint leaves and cloves.
Strawberry-clove tea
Preparation time: 25 minutes
Recipe difficulty: easy
Yield: ½ liter of water
In a cooker or milk boiler, place 1 liter of water to boil with 3 or 4 cloves (if you like, you can also add one or two cinnamon sticks). When the water boils, add 8 to 10 cut and mashed strawberries. Let it boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, let it steep for 10 more minutes and then pour the liquid through a strainer into a thermal carafe.
