Built-in hoods: discrete and efficient

Built-in hoods treat air and filter grease with a minimalist design that matches any kitchen

Small kitchens have a major ally for filtering air and grease from food preparation. Built-in hoods are discrete and take up little space in the room. They are also a great option for those who prefer a more minimalist design.

The hood is installed in a free cabinet above the cooktop or stove, with the correct measurements to receive it. It can also be installed in purifier mode (using activated charcoal filters to filter the air), or in exhaust mode (with a duct that takes the air out of the room). Mounting is simple, by means of the hood’s own hooks on the cabinet.

The engine can be housed in two ways: inside the cabinet, reducing noise compared to wall-mounted hoods with chimney, or at a distance of up to 6 meters from the hood body, with nearly imperceptible noise and still leaving room in the cabinet to store utensils. Tramontina hoods operate at 3 or 4 speeds, depending on the model.

Speed 1, suitable for boiling liquids and cooking foods in general in smaller pans (without frying), has a noise level of 43 dbA – which can be compared to a low-pitched conversation.

Speed 2, suitable for preparing dishes with medium smell levels and light frying, has a noise level of 56 dbA.

Speed 3, indicated for more intense frying or preparing recipes with stronger aromas, has a noise level of 63 dbA.

At speed 4, you can get maximum performance from the product, reaching its full flow capacity. It should be used when preparing quick dishes or with large amounts of steam.

Now that you know more about built-in hoods, it is easier to know which one you need to keep your kitchen looking good every day.
