Yes. Tramontina teak cutting boards are laboratory-tested and comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004, ensuring they do not release harmful substances or alter the taste of food.

Tramontina cutting boards feature a unique design and a special finish with antibacterial mineral oil, providing extra safety and protection when handling food.

No. The teak wood surface is soft enough to preserve the knife’s edge, reducing wear compared to glass or hard plastic cutting boards. &nbsp;

Wash the board by hand using warm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge. Dry immediately with a clean cloth and store it vertically to ensure proper ventilation and prevent warping. &nbsp;

It is not recommended, as the heat and excessive moisture from the dishwasher may cause cracks and warping in the wood. &nbsp;

Apply food-grade mineral oil or beeswax regularly to hydrate the wood and prevent cracks. It is recommended to do this every 1 to 3 months, depending on usage and climate conditions. &nbsp;

No. Tramontina’s utensils with nonstick coatings are non-toxic, PFOA-free and do not pose a risk to health. &nbsp;

Before first use, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the internal surface with oil or fat and heat it for one or two minutes. Allow to cool and then wash again.Your Starflon utensil is now ready for use with or without oil, always over low or medium heat (never higher than 260 °C or 500 °F).&nbsp;

The ceramic coating is free of PFOA, PTFE and nickel, which means there is no migration of heavy metals to food.

The steel used to manufacture all the lines is the same. What changes is the model, design and thickness. A seasoning process is not required for stainless-steel cookware. This is only necessary for pans with nonstick coating. &nbsp;

Our stainless-steel pans are made of 304 steel with a triple bottom (steel + aluminum + steel), which allows for better heat dissipation across the entire surface. The outermost bottom is made of AISI 430 stainless steel. &nbsp;

Use a low heat source to keep food from sticking to the bottom of the pan. The triple bottom distributes heat evenly, so high heat is not necessary. By doing this, you can also save energy. When using the pan on a gas stove, the flame should never go past the bottom of the pan. When used on an electric cooktop, the heating area diameter should be smaller than or equal to that of the pan. &nbsp;

The main advantage is practicality for cleaning, as well as a sophisticated appearance.• Scotch-Brite – Pre-polished finish: this is a finish brushed in one direction, resulting in a more matte appearance that enhances the natural shine of stainless steel.• Polished finish: this is a smooth finish with a soft sheen, obtained through specific procedures for polishing the stainless-steel surface.
