The attributes of stainless steel with the speed and performance that only a pressure cooker can offer. In addition to their practicality, Tramontina pressure cookers are extremely safe.
Entirely made in stainless steel, does not release any residues on food keeping it healthy.
Highly durable, keeps original features preserving looks, hygiene and durability of material.  
Triple-ply bottom (stainless steel + aluminum + stainless steel) distributes heat evenly, resulting in faster and more uniform cooking, saving power and keeping food warm for longer. 
Heat-resistant handle and holder, ensure safe and easy use.

It can be used on gas, electric, vitroceramic glass and induction.
Fit the lid tightly and turn the open and close button until the end. The lid does not necessarily need to be aligned with the handles.
The Presto Tramontina Cooker has two pressure levels according to the type of food being prepared
Place your cooker on a heat source that is the same size or smaller than the cooker's base. Center the cooker over the heat, always remembering that the heat source cannot be larger than the cooker's base.
The pressure regulator valve allows you to select the cooking setting.
Automatic safety valve inside the cover handle that is activated when excess pressure builds up.

Before using, remove all labels and wash it with soap and water, using a soft sponge.
Do not fill the cooker more than 2/3 full. When preparing foods that expand when cooked, such as rice and raw vegetables, do not fill the cooker more than half full. Exceeding these limits runs the risk of clogging the pressure regulator valve and causing excess pressure to build up.
A minimum of 250 ml of liquid must be added to do any kind of cooking as this is essential for steam to form.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle. If necessary, use protection (gloves, cloths, etc.)
If your sauce pan has been on the heat source for a long time and the pin does not rise, increase the heat source and then decrease it.
Before each use, be sure that the safety valve housed inside the cover handle is not blocked. If blocked, clean it with a pointy object.
To keep your Presto Tramontina Pressure Cooker looking beautiful and shiny, wash all of its parts with water, mild detergent and a soft sponge.
Chlorine and other substances found in water may cause spotting on stainless steel. After washing, rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth. 
Avoid leaving food in the cooker for long periods of time. Salt also can cause spotting and corrosion of the cooker. 
If white spots appear due to excessive chlorine in the water or starchy foods, remove them with alittle vinegar or lemon juice.
High heat may cause discoloration of the stainless steel, particularly bluish or golden spots. Therefore a lowheat setting is recommended. 
Place the cooker on a heat source that is only the same size or smaller than the cooker?s base.
Never use abrasive products as they may scratch the stainless steel finish. 
Replace the sealing ring whenever it becomes stiff or brittle. Useful life of sealing ring: 2 years.
IMPORTANT: Always keep the safety vent facing the center of the stove.
