The maximum capacity for cooking is 2/3 of the total volume of the item. 
To maintain your stainless steel pressure cooker and keep it shiny and beautiful we recommend that you only wash it using detergent and sponge. In addition, Tramontina has developed a special polish to remove stains from stainless steel products which isavailable at our main points of sale. 
Whenever possible, rinse the product with warm water after washing and dry immediately in order to keep its original shine as chloride and other substances contained in water can cause stains. 
Avoid leaving food inthe pan for long periods. Salt can also cause stains or rust. 
If there are white stains due to excess chlorine in water or starchy food, clean it with a little vinegar or lemon juice. 
High flames can change the color of the steel leaving golden or blueish stains. Low heat is always recommended. 
Only expose your pressure cooker to flames of the same diameter or smaller than the bottom of the pan. 
Do not use abrasive products as they can scratch the stainless steel. 
The sealing ring was developed specially for the Solar pressure cookers. 
Replace the sealing ring whenever it becomes stiff or brittle. Useful life sealing ring: 2 years. 
For a longer life for this product, lubricate it periodically with cooking oil.
