To keep your pressure cooker looking good, we recommend washing it only with mild detergent and a soft sponge.
When using hot utensils, be extra careful.
If necessary, use hand protection and keep them out of reach of children.
For your safety, when using utensils with handles, always keep them facing the center of the stove.
When using your utensil on stoves with grates, keep the piece centered and align the handle with the grate, to reduce the risk of falling.
For a longer service life of the lid sealing ring, grease it periodically with cooking oil. Replace this sealing ring every 2 years for good product performance, or whenever it is damaged.
The working valve must be replaced every 5 years for good product performance, or whenever it is damaged.
After drying, grease the inside with oil or fat and cook for one or two minutes. Let it cool and wash again.
Your Starflon utensil is ready to use with or without fat, always on low or medium heat (never higher than 260 ºC).
To stir food, use only silicone, nylon or wooden utensils.
Cleaning: Avoid immersing hot utensils in cold water.
Never use abrasive products when washing.
If you burn food on them, moisten the area and leave it until you can remove the stuck-on residue with a sponge and soap.
To dispose of the product and packaging, follow current recycling guidelines.
