One hundred and fifteen years ago, a simple pocket knife gave rise to a journey built on hard work, innovation, and dedication. In celebration of its history, Tramontina relaunches the Santa Bárbara Pocket Knife — the first product that marked the beginning of it all.
Its production was entirely manual, made using files, mallets, hammers, and rudimentary tools.
Molds guided the cutting of steel on foot-powered machines, while the handles were crafted from materials sourced in the region. Timber from nearby forests fueled the fire that heated and shaped each piece.
More than just a product, it represented the beginning of a dream.
