Red wine
Indisputably the ruler of the season, right? For full-bodied wines, prefer cheeses such as emmental, grana padano, gruyere and pecorino for your cutting board.
Lighter reds go well with brie, gouda, and fontina. Prosciutto, specialty sausages, figs and prunes can also make up your cutting board.
White wine
White wine when it’s cold? Absolutely! Especially when accompanied by a cutting board with fresh cheeses, such as buffalo mozzarella, ricotta and curd, or soft cheeses such as brie and camembert. Nuts and fattier cured meats, such as sausages, are also a good pairing.
Rosé wine
The summertime darling can also be enjoyed on cold days, of course. An interesting charcuterie cutting board to accompany a rosé can include brie, gouda, goat or minas cheeses, prosciutto, salami, olives and cured or smoked salmon.
