Ingredients
20 ml of water
4 g of clear gelatin
100 ml of milk
120 g of heavy cream
35 ml of brewed coffee
40 g of sugar
Syrup Ingredients
150 ml of brewed coffee
50 g of sugar
Preparation Method
First, brew strong coffee using your preferred method and set it aside. For this recipe, you’ll need 185 ml, divided between the panna cotta and the syrup. Next, add the water to a jar and let the gelatin hydrate for 5 minutes.
In a milk pan, combine the milk, heavy cream, 35 ml of brewed coffee, and sugar, and stir until it comes to a boil over low heat.
Pour the hot mixture into the jar with the hydrated gelatin and stir until well combined.
Choose 2 dessert glasses or glass mugs to assemble the dessert. To create the dessert’s inclined effect, place them on a sheet lined with paper towels to prevent them from tipping over, supporting them with an object like a ramekin or another small container. Pour the panna cotta mixture evenly into the dessert glasses and refrigerate for 2 hours.
To prepare the syrup, add the sugar to a sauce pan over low heat and wait for it to caramelize. Add 150 ml of brewed coffee and stir for approximately 5 minutes. Refrigerate until it is time to serve. Remove the firm panna cotta from the refrigerator and pour the syrup over the dessert glasses.
Serve immediately and enjoy. Oh! Once prepared, the dessert can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, covered with plastic wrap or placed in a covered container.
