Vegetable chips: an excellent choice for an appetizer or snack
Roasted slices of sweet potato, carrots, and zucchini are healthy, easy-to-prepare alternatives.
What do watching a sitcom or a football game and having friends over with an afternoon snack have in common? They are much better with well-seasoned vegetable chips. Did you like the idea? They are a healthy alternative to industrialized products, delicious, and very easy to make. Check it out:
First, select the vegetables (potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, zucchini, cassava, etc.) wash and peel them.
Cut them into very thin slices.
Place the vegetable slices in a nonstick pan or in a pan lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle (or spray) olive oil on both sides of the slices.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) until crispy. Remember to turn the slices so that they bake on both sides. In the microwave, it takes about 6 minutes.
Now just add other seasoning suggestions, such as oregano, rosemary, garlic flakes, grated cheese, and sesame oil, and sauces and spreads to go with it. Hummus or tartar sauce can be great choices. To impress even more, take care of the presentation because the delicious flavor is already guaranteed!
